The Women’s Program at CNH creates spaces and opportunities for women to explore social issues, develop new skills, form relationships and reclaim their voices.

We support women to deal with personal issues such as violence against women, parenting, employment, and education. We provide informal counseling, information and referrals, and accompaniment to court, doctor, or housing appointments and more

There are currently four language specific support groups in Mandarin, Tamil, Somali/Swahili and Bengali. Immigrant and refugee women participate in educational workshops on topics such as parenting, health, and violence against women.

Our programs are free for all women. We provide childcare, food, and TTC and have translation available in a variety of languages including American Sign Language. We work together to understand one another across differences and support one another.
