Support Housing Program
Central Neighbourhood House provides assistance and homecare to clients within a Supportive Housing environment.
In St. James Town we work with Community Resource Connections of Toronto, where we have staff assisting clients; some are in crisis, some have hoarding issues, but all of them need support to continue to live independently.
Service for these programs is provided on a referral basis by the partner agencies.
Safe Seniors Support Housing Program
This program provides assistance to individuals from institutions and service systems, aged 59 and over who have been homeless for over 6 months or at-risk of homelessness in finding stable, affordable housing. In addition, we offer support in; obtaining rent subsidy, case management, navigating systems for health and financial stability, landlord and tenant mediation, eviction prevention, advocacy and referrals to a wide range of community services.
