CNH Strategic Plan
About : CNH Strategic Plan
In 2011, Central Neighbourhood House finalized its Strategic Plan for
the next 5 years. The plan was developed over a period of 6 months, with input
from program participants, staff, funders, community partners and other
stakeholders.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the ideas and the process!
What We Do:
Central Neighbourhood House serves people who live in the downtown east
side of Toronto, who are affected by poverty, isolation, and/or
marginalization. We view those that we serve not only as program participants
but as co-innovators, collaborators, neighbours, citizens, residents, and most
of all, people who are valued.
Our Vision:
A Just and Caring Society
Our Mission:
We engage the skills and talents of the people of our community to
foster social justice, and to build a vibrant neighborhood where everyone lives
with dignity and respect.
Our Values:
Diversity
Empowerment
Leadership
Inclusivity
Our Strategic Priorities:
Community Engagement: An engaged community with a shared vision, commitment to social justice and innovative programs that reflect the needs of the community
Knowledge and Quality Driven: Serving the community through community-based research, program innovation, informed practices, and a commitment to excellence.
Organizational Resilience: Stable operational, human and financial resources and the ability to proactively develop and implement strategies that meet all challenges, and
embrace all opportunities.
